- Lefranc's 12 hour gilding mix is an oil based fixative specifically designed for gilding gold leaf and metal leaf.
- Like the 3 hour version, this gilding mix is lead-free and is formulated to adhere gold leaf to non-porous surfaces such as glass, metal and marble.
- It is specially designed for use on larger surfaces. It works best outdoors in dry climates and is recommended in situations with limited amounts of dust.
- An advantage of the 12-hour Gilding Mix is that it provides longer lasting protection, as well as greater gloss and depth compared to the 3-hour version.
- The volume of the product is 250 ml and the complete drying time is estimated to be approximately 12 hours.
