Emilio Freixas Aranguren has been recognised as the best Spanish cartoonist of the 20th century, of which he was a pioneer.

He is the author of the "Freixas" method of artistic drawing, which deals extensively with all its facets, continued by his son Carlos.

Emilio Freixas's illustrations have always been of great quality and exceptionally useful for learning drawing.

His teaching work is so up to date that after years it has not been surpassed by any other author and is frequently copied.
