Liquitex Super Thick Gloss Gel 946ml

Sculptural consistency: The gel gives a thick, dense consistency to acrylic colours, allowing them to be modelled and given a three-dimensional appearance. This is especially useful for creating textures or sculptural effects in paint.
Low shrinkage: When the gel dries, it has a very low shrinkage rate. This means that the dimensions and shape of the artwork remain virtually unchanged, ensuring the stability of the artwork over time.
Transparency to semi-opaque: Super Heavy Gloss Gel Medium has the property of being transparent to semi-opaque, depending on the thickness with which it is applied. This allows you to play with different levels of translucency in the paint, which can result in interesting visual effects.
Superior adhesive: In addition to its use as a means of changing the consistency of paint, gel also acts as a high quality adhesive. It is particularly effective for collage and mixed media techniques, allowing various materials to be securely and durably adhered to the surface of the artwork.
Flexibility and strength: Once the gel has completely dried, it remains flexible, preventing it from cracking or peeling off over time. It is also water resistant once dry, which means that the artwork can withstand wet conditions or be wiped off without the gel being affected.
Non-yellowing: Super Heavy Gloss Gel Medium does not change colour over time and does not yellow. This ensures that paint colours remain true and vibrant over the long term.
