What are the basic scrapbooking tools?
Let us see what a basic scrap tools kit would include:
- Scrapbooking is based on paper, so the first item on the list will be cutting tools. A good craft knife, a non-slip metal ruler (to use with the knife) and a cutting mat to protect the work surface are essential. Good scissors are also necessary, ensuring they are sharp. A paper trimmer will make measuring and cutting much easier, and even scoring folds.
- Another tool that will also be very useful is a bone folder. With it, you can score and make perfect folds, as well as help attach paper or fabric without wrinkles.

As with everything related to art and creation, imagination is the limit. You can find a tool for almost anything you can think of. From applying foil with the Minc, creating pockets in plastic sleeves with the Fuse Tool, making envelopes, bows and boxes with Punch Boardsā¦ or using a cutting plotter, either a Silhouette or a Cricut, with which you can create almost anything you imagine.
