• Basic Dye powder dyes. The perfect solution for difficult to dye materials.
• Developed for acrylic fibres, synthetic leather, wigs and yarn etc. Also ideal for wood, cane, straw, paper, leather and hemp.
• Use them for potpourri, dolls, buttons and furniture, or add them to the Piñata Claro extender for customised alcohol dye colours.
• They are exceptionally easy to use - dye by dipping or brush application.
• They tend to show little resistance to light and washing.
• Contains 8 colours of 14.17g: 009 Red, 005 Orange, 001 Yellow, 021 Green, 015 Blue, 011 Purple, 023 Brown, 025 Black.
• Directions for use:
• - Use between 1% and 3% dye depending on the total weight of the material. For black and brown, use up to 5%.
• - Fill the pot with enough hot water to cover the material. Add ½ cup/118 ml of vinegar per 3.79 L of liquid.
• - Add the dye and stir until completely dissolved. Add the items to be dyed.
• - Allow to stand for 10-20 minutes, stirring often.
• - Remove the material and rinse with cold water.
• - The warmer the dye bath, the more intense the colour will be.
• - To create a paintable mixture that will not damage wood or leather, add approximately 7.5 ml of stain to 1 cup/0.24 L of denatured alcohol or thinner. Apply several coats until the desired shade is achieved. Rinse with water or alcohol.
