Acrylic Medium Clear Tar Gel Golden

• Transparent tar gel has a gel-like texture, similar to tar, but it is transparent and colourless.
• Its extremely resinous and fibrous consistency makes it very different from other acrylic gels. It is useful for creating fine, detailed lines when applied to surfaces, as it flows continuously from spatulas or other tools.
• The specific texture and consistency of clear tar gel is due to the type of thickener used during its manufacture. This thickener gives the gel a prolonged rheology, similar to the consistency of honey, which allows for better levelling and fewer brush strokes.
• To thin, add water or mediums.
• Mixes well with all acrylic colours, although fluid colours work best.
• Available in different sizes.
