What is the Mold Press?

The Mold Press is the new tool from the American brand We R Memory Keepers, and it’s able of transforming any object in a mould for crafting and mould making. You can use the moulds to make candles, soaps, clay objects, magnets or even chocolate or cupcake toppers (as the plastic it comes with the machine is food safe). Moreover, we can use the plastic itself and make a shaker card and other accents with it to decorate our scrapbooking projects.

How the Mold Press works?

If this doesn’t sound enough appealing for you, wait. They make the Mold Press a super easy tool, so forget about spending hours reading the instruction booklet. We’re explaining how easy it's to use it.

Insert the plastic sheet (that will became later in our mould) it in the magnetic frame, put the cover on and place it on the machine. It will adhere easily to the machine because of the magnetic surface. The machine will start to heat to soften the plastic, it would only take a minute or a minute and a half.

In the meantime, we connect our vacuum to the machine. Any vacuum should work perfectly as the American brand sells an adaptor for you to have no problem. Moreover, We R Memory Keepers sells a specific vacuum for this machine in case you want a specific vacuum for this machine.

Once the machine is hot and ready, we’ll know when it’s ready when we see the plastic dripping down, switch on the vacuum and push down the magnetic frame towards the base of the machine, where the object we want to make a mould from, lies.

Turn off the vacuum and just pop out the object. Be careful as the plastic it would be warm, it shouldn't be dangerous for you but be careful. When you're sure the plastic is cold enough for you to touch, take it and pop out the object. You have an amazing mould with a lot of details and ready to use! You'll see how the plastic has the texture of the object and how well it captures every little detail of any object.

What does the Mold Press include?

Mold Press includes the tool, a magnetic frame to place the plastic sheet that would become in a mould, a vacuum adaptor that will allow us to use with most of the vacuums we may have, a pack of 5 plastic sheets that are totally safe for food use and an instruction booklet.

Apart from that, We R Memory Keepers will launch a range of accessories.

When we could enjoy the Mold Press?

We only have to wait a little more to have this machine with us as we estimate that the Mold Press will arrive to our shop the next month. There are so many possibilities with this tool.
