There are so many organization planners possibilities that it's easy to get a little crazy about it. In this post, we’re explaining the differences and compatibility of the most famous creative planners on the market. Carpe Diem, Prima Planners and Colour Crush are very alike, but not the same. Every once in a while and especially in September, we receive tons of questions about creative planners: "Are these inserts compatible with my planner?ā€, ā€œWhat size are the pagesā€, ā€œWhat suits me the best?ā€. We’re ready to answer all your questions (except for the last one, which is way more personal and totally depends on you). Let’s compare the planners that raise more doubts due to its inserts.

My Prima Planner, from Prima Marketing

We find four different models of the same planner within My Prima PlannerĀ collection, every one of them in A5 size. Black with white dots, white with black dots and two models designed by Frank GarcĆa and Julie Nutting. They are elegant and with a lot of space to write on. We recommend its use as a desk planner due to its volume. They are undatedĀ planners and have 24 dividers, so we can add inserts for up to two years. Here's what you can see in the interior:   my-prima-plannerinside my-prima-planner-inserts -Planner Size: 2.86 x 20.32 x 4.44 cm -Pages Size: 15.24 x 20.32 cm Compatible with: Filofax, Carpe Diem from Simple Stories, My prima Planner, Kikki-k.

Color Crush from Webster's Pages

Color Crush Planners are one of the best known personal planners on the market. They were among the first to launchĀ a wide range of planners. You have them available in two different sizes, Personal Planner and Planner A5, although Webster’s Pages always launch the same size also for their midoris. It has quite resistant covers, so the Personal size is ideal for those who always want to carry their planner. Just make sure to read the product name and description, as the brand manufactures ā€œkitsā€ and ā€œbindersā€. Kits include dividers and inserts for calendars and binders are always empty. It’s just an empty case or cover to make our planner completely personalized, we can add inserts, use it as an album or with any other purpose we want to give them. Some of them are dated and others are not, so check carefully the information about it in the description of each product. -Personal Planner Color Crush Size: 20,3x13,3cm -Personal Planner Color Crush Pages: 9,52 x 17,14 cm. -Personal Planner A5 Color Crush: 19x25 cm. -Personal Planner A5: 14,6x21 cm. Carpe Diem Planners, from Simple Stories

Carpe Diem is Simple Stories’ new planner collection and that’s the way they call their planners. They are the same style we’ve seen before. Imitation leather, resistant, with the same system of rings and a great range of styles and themes. The most characteristic feature is the number of pages, inserts, dividers and accessories that have been released together with the planner. Many of these accessories belong to a theme and others are aimed at specific tasks such as household chores, sports o recipes. They come undated (check the new models just in case they change to dated planners), in two different sizes: Personal Planner and A5. -Personal Planner Size: 15,24x19 cm. -Personal Planner Pages: 10,16x17,14 cm -Planner A5: 20,32x24,13 cm -Planner A5 Pages: A5: A5 14,8x21 cm Compatible with: Filofax, Webster’s Color Crush, My Prima Planner and Kikki-k. planner-carpe-diem-simple-stories

What are Filofax Planners?

We don’t have them in store, but they are pretty well known and there are high chances that the previous brands have found some inspiration on Filofax Planners to make their own. Why? Because they want you to be able to add inserts that you already have at home, and to have accessories and dividers from other brands without any worry. This brand binding it’s like the classical planner way of binding, 6 rings with space in the middle and a central opening. We don’t have the planners or the inserts but we wanted to clarify this because you may read this in a product description: ā€œcompatible with Filofax Plannerā€, ā€œFilofax insertsā€, etc. Now you know that they are compatible with your Prima’s, Webster’s and Carpe Diem’s planners.

Personal Page and A5 Filofax Sizes

Filofax's models are also divided in two: Personal and A5-size. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? Webster’s Pages didn’t come up with anything new… The distance between rings are exactly the same as in the previous models, so all inserts are compatible. You’ll find these measures in tools for planners, such as the Planner Punch Board. In the measurements board and instructions you can find the most well-known models on the market to be able to make the holes in the exact spot.

Filofax Sizes Such a lecture we gave to you! At least we hope it’d be useful if you’re looking for compatible models for your planner or if you’re looking for a new one. There’s a wide range for you to choose from! We have to confess that we had to put our socks up, you've asking a lot about sizes, types of holes and inserts, so we had to study in-depth all the models. If there are any questions, please, don’t hesitate on asking us in the comments! Have a nice day or night, whatever time it is when you read this. Until the next time! :)
