• Tarlatana is a type of stiff and rough fabric originating in India. It is a fabric similar to muslin made from cotton or cotton with polyester.
• The fabric has a lot of sizing, you have to wrinkle it and rub it to make it lose that hardness. With use it will become softer.
• It is used to spread and remove excess ink from the plate to be stamped.
• With the hardness of its fibers, it removes excess ink and because of the softness it acquires when molded, you can use it as if it were a fine gauze so as not to damage the matrix.
