More about Brother ScanNCut machinesBrother ScanNCut cutting machines
ScanNCut can cut numerous materials, from paper, of course, to light cardboard or even felt, vinyl or fabric. Its cutting capacity, besides being precise, is around 0.8 to 1.5 mm thick.
Enough to cover most creative ideas you can imagine.
What can you do with ScanNCut?
As its name indicates, the particularity of the device is that it lets you scan (which no other machine on the market does), as well as cut. This is why it is not just a cutting plotter; it is an intelligent cutting machine.
This allows you to digitise all the documents you may need for your scrapbooking album, such as photos, newspaper articles, wedding invitations, etc., and send them to your computer to store them forever should you want to create a new design.
In addition, it was almost obvious to assume that Brother has the ability to attach a pen to the machine to write or draw as desired. With the ScanNCut models: sdx1250, sdx900, sdx1000 or CM700.
And as a nod to its origins, it is perfect for doing patchwork and cutting pieces of fabric for your sewing creations.
Being very intuitive, the machine is very easy to use and allows you to manage motifs by adjusting dimensions or shapes and then cutting them precisely. Furthermore, some models do not even require a computer connection, which greatly simplifies design time and tasks.
The precision of the cut, as well as its speed, are impressive and represent its great advantage. Technologically, it is a Formula One, whether for simple or detailed shapes. It is incomparable to cutting by hand with a knife. Do not try to surpass it; it is impossible to be better than Brother ScanNCut!
