Gesso matt additive 250ml tube

• Gesso is an opaque matt white primer commonly used in the preparation of surfaces for acrylic and oil paints. It provides a base coat that fixes and protects the surface before paint is applied. Opaque white gesso is especially useful for achieving a solid and uniform coverage of subsequent colours.

• Applying gesso to surfaces fixes and protects them before painting. The gesso helps to seal the surface, preventing the paint from being over-absorbed and improving the durability of the paint layer.
