Vallejo True Metallic Metal Modeling Paint 18ml

• The True Metallic Metal (TMM) technique aims to represent realistic metallic surfaces using metallic paints, instead of simulating the metal with flat colours as in Non Metallic Metal (NMM).
• It allows natural reflections and a visually striking finish to be achieved with less painterly artifice, while retaining the material richness of miniature metal.
• Vallejo introduces True Metallic Metal, a range developed to offer control, consistency and results.

• The range is designed to cover the entire chromatic spectrum with metallic paints, organised in 20 chromatic families.
• Each family includes four sub-ranges that work in perfect harmony:
  - BASE: Main metallic tone. It incorporates ultra-fine metallic effect particles, offering a spectacular result and a shine according to the scale. High covering
High covering power for base coats, with a smooth and homogeneous finish and great self-levelling capacity that avoids brushstroke marks.
  - LIGHT: Metallic illuminating colour, brighter versions.

  - SHADE: Non-metallic satin wash. They allow the creation of subtle shading in the middle areas
in the middle areas and strong outlines in the crevices.
  - AIRBRUSH: Metallic base colour formulated for airbrushing. They are chromatically matched to the Base colours with a specific formulation for airbrush use.
• Each colour family functions as an autonomous colour unit, but is formulated to allow combinations and mixtures between colour families.
• No thinning is required, although it can be thinned with Airbrush Thinner for subtle effects. Excessive thinning may result in uneven finishes.
