Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina Ink

A blend of pigment and dye ink to achieve unique effects.
Designed by Tim Holtz, water-reactive, ideal for combining and using with our standard Distress inks.
This new Oxide colour range is opaque and highly opaque; it mimics a rusted effect when water is applied and blends perfectly with theDistress colour palette.
The more water you apply, the more intense the rust effect becomes and the more the dye bleeds. The rust effect is more pronounced on darker colours.

You can use them with stamps, brushes or stencils, or apply them directly to the surface. Their consistency even makes it possible to stamp over dark colours.
They blend and mix easily, although you can use anapplicator to help.
The finish is matt, chalk-like, once dry (if no water has been applied to achieve the rust effect). 

The ink comes in a felt-tip format.
It dries slowly and can be used for embossing.
Resistant to fading and acid-free.
