Light and shadow in drawing
This book is designed for those who wish to begin and progress in artistic drawing, with a pedagogical method that invites to practice from the very first moment.
To learn to draw, it is first necessary to learn to use light, which does not exist without the presence of shadow, light does not exist without dark; it is the struggle between these opposites and their arrangement on the model that defines the different planes and locates the source of light that illuminates the model.
The shadows serve to tint the light, create dramatic effects and imprint a certain emotional atmosphere on the work, they are the emotional key to the drawing and allow it to be given a greater pictorial treatment.
