Madrid
A fascinating tour of Madrid by the photographer who has best portrayed the capital.
Fernando Manso is a photographer who works with a plate camera and very slow exposure times. Each snapshot takes hours of preparation, and the result is impressive, as he manages to give a singular beauty to images that nobody seems to have noticed.
The Crystal Palace, the Puerta de AlcalĆ”, the Retiro Park, the Gran VĆa, the Teatro Real in a display that includes aerial and ground level views, clear skies, snowy streets, impossible architecture and imposing buildings. Madrid is a very special place through your eyes
