Scrapbook is more than just gluing pictures to an album, it is so much more than that. That is why the adhesives used in scrapbooking are so special and so important.

Scrap beginners might think adhesives are all of a same kind, and a cheap stick will do the job. Sorry, but wrong. Craftelier presents different kinds of adhesives and formats because each of them suits for a distinct material, technique, and craft.

The right choice of scrapbook supplies is critical for your crafts, especially when it comes to adhesives. We are dedicated to providing you with the glues and adhesives you need to get started. You don’t use the same glue for papers or for chipboards.

Adhesive Scrapbook

The best thing to do is try to list what you have and for what crafts.
There are three types of adhesives: wet, dry, and low tack. As you might guess, Craftelier has considered them all.

Wet adhesives are usually referred to as glue. They come in liquid, paste, hot glue stick, standard sticks or spray cans form.

This is the most common type of glue used in scrapbook. It is what we grew up with. A little too much can cause your paper and photos to wrinkle or clump because of the moisture they bring. But you can control that using our silicone brushes.

They are perfect for big areas, bookbinding, card-making and other sturdy projects.
Craftelier has the best liquid glues, such as the Blok for chunky ideas, and the beloved Tacky Glue for all your scrapbooking projects available in different formats.

Scrapbook Adhesives & Glues

Dry adhesives are typically available as tapes, tabs, dots, or photo corners. They are simply a great way to place a photo without damaging the photo itself.
At Craftelier, dry glue means less sticky mess. We offer a nice range of dry glue. These include double-sided foam squares, tapes, and charming sticky dots and squares.

With our punch and a little dry glue from our double-sided tape dispenser, you can also create your own customized photo corners.

They can be a lifesaver, since the photo is not in direct contact with the glue. Your album will be beautifully decorated, and you'll be able to swap the picture out whenever you want!

Photo corners add a beautiful decorative touch to scrapbooking, card making and paper crafts projects.

Low tack adhesives come in tape or sheet form, and are used as a temporary hold during the crafting process.
They are essential for a variety of techniques, such as holding Craftelier’s metal dies in place while they are running through your die cutting machine. A small piece of tape will hold up through several runs of your die cutting machine, and since it's not super tacky, it won't tear your project apart!

You can also use it to mask off areas of your project that you don't want to be inked, and to hold your stencils in place.
And, since we all make mistake, we even have thought about that, with our Adhesive Eraser.

Scrapbooking Glue

All of Craftelier's adhesives have what are called archival qualities, because they are non-toxic and acid and lignin free. These characteristics are essential for any scrapbooking project. Acid leaves unpleasant yellow stains on photos and deteriorates them over time.

The brand also has a range of dry times to suit the type of project you have in mind. Slow-drying adhesives are perfect for heavy projects, giving you time to place everything exactly where you want. Blok is the most famous one for cardboard projects, with the use of our divider assembly clamps.

The quick-drying ones are designed for common tasks such as gluing printed paper, placing embellishments such as die-cuts or sequins, and many other decorations we have listed.

Also a good factor are scrapbook adhesive formats. Some of them are really useful and are often found on your scrapbooking table or in your craft box for their efficiency.
You can find stickers, adhesive tapes of different lengths and thickness, foam squares, sticky dots, liquid tubes and even dispensers or sheets.

Now, all you have to do is imagine a project, and you will know which adhesive is best for you, at Craftelier, at the best price and with the best quality.
