My first drawing school
In an effective child-friendly way, Ute Ludwigsen-Kaiser introduces children to the art of drawing with a carefully chosen selection of cute motifs such as animals, houses, children, cars, flowers and trees.
She explains the difference between drawing and painting, the materials needed to achieve strokes and lines, and how to shade for very creative results.
Using simple basic shapes such as the circle, square and triangle, she helps children understand the shapes of motifs and how to put them on paper, so that they quickly see that drawing and painting is not difficult at all and encourages them to have a go with pencil and paper!
Ute Ludwigsen-Kaiser teaches life drawing and watercolour and pastel painting at her own school.
