If there is one thing that really makes a difference when it comes to stamping, it is using a Stamp Platform. It is undoubtedly a very useful tool that will save us a lot of time and assure us that our stampings will be perfect.
In this blog, we have already talked about these tools (You're going to need this if you want to stamp like a professional) and after many months of working on this product, we can finally enjoy our own Stamp Platform. The best of all is that it does not come alone, it is accompanied by the Pressing Tool, the perfect complement.
Stamp Platform
It is the perfect tool for professional stamping. It consists of a base and a transparent methacrylate "lid" anchored with hinges to the base. On two of its sides, it includes a ruler with measurements in both centimeters and inches ? In addition, we have designed these measurements in our traditional turquoise, so that they are clearly visible. The work surface is 23 x 19 centimetres.
Best of all, it can be used with both silicone and rubber stamps. The Stamping Platform includes a grey foam base that we will have to use if we are stamping with silicone stamps, and remove if we are using rubber stamps.
It's very easy to use, here's how!
The base of the Platform is magnetized and this is where we will place the paper we want to stamp. It also includes two Easy-Lift Magnets that will make it very practical and convenient to place them on the Platform (you can also find them separately in our shop, just in case you ever lose them!).
Once you have the paper in place, place the stamp (without inking) on the paper, in the exact place where we want to stamp. Close the lid and the stamp will stick to it. Put the lid down again, press a little bit, and ta-da! You've got a perfect stamp.
In case any of the parts of our stamp have not turned out well, we can repeat the operation: ink the stamp and press again. Thanks to the fact that both the stamp and the paper have adhered to the Platform, we can stamp as many times as necessary and the stamping will always be in the same place.
Pressing Tool for Stamping Platforms
The best complement for this Platform is the Pressing Tool, with which you can press the surface of the platform evenly. It includes a felt on the underside so that it can be used on the base without damaging it. In addition, thanks to its design, it is not necessary to apply so much force to obtain the best results. It is especially useful for those stamps that have a larger surface and a lot of detail.
