Probably this is the product you have been asking for the most, a product we have been working on for months and that is finally here. We're talking about our planner discs that are now available in a wide variety of colours and materials.
Planner discs or disc rings are a must-have accessory if you like to work with the typical binding of brands such as Happy Planner. It is a very convenient and practical binding, as it allows us to add sheets, remove them or change the layout of the inside without damaging our project and without investing too much time. It also allows us to completely change the aesthetics or style of our album. If we get tired of the design we have given it, we can make another cover and change it without having to make any major changes. We can also change the rings for others of a different colour and the look of the album will change completely. Disc ring binding gives us the freedom to continue creating once we have completed our project.
To do precisely that, to give versatility to our projects, we have designed a wide range of disc ring colours. Eighteen different models, all of which are standard size M (approx. 3.5 mm diameter), designed with a heart in the centre. There are 9 rings in each pack, and you can find them in three different finishes: plastic, metal and glitter.
- Metal Disc Rings
The metal finish of these rings makes them perfect: they are strong, long-lasting and have a shinier and more elegant finish. They are available in turquoise, pastel pink, pink, white, yellow, mint, pastel blue, blue and lilac. We also have two models with a metallic finish, gold and rose gold, and a very special model, the Rainbow, which is made up of rings of different colours, perfect if we want to give a colourful touch to our planner or album.
- Plastic Disc Rings
This type of ring is the same as the metallic ones, the only difference lies in their material and weight. We have them available in pink, mint, white and pastel yellow.
- Glitter Disc Rings
This is our most special line and one of our favourites. They are clear plastic rings with glitter dots. At the moment we have two models, one with gold glitter and the other with turquoise glitter. They look great on any project, adding a very special touch.
How to make projects with Disc Rings?
A few months ago we already introduced you to a tool for making the kind of holes that disc rings require: the Disc Planner Punch. This punch can make up to nine holes, and we explained it all in this post: "The Planner Disc Punch, now we have our own" But as we are never satisfied, and we always want to bring you the best, we decided to not stop there and start designing and manufacturing a disc punch capable of making 11 holes at the same time, the XL Disc Planner Punch. These two tools will allow you to make the characteristic holes for inserting the disc rings. The holes they make have the same distance from each other as the ones from planners of the most famous brands, making them compatible with many different brands.
