Scrapbooking Paper

Scrapbooking Paper

Scrapbook paper is the main material we use for scrapbooking. It is the basis of our project and the one that sets the style and design. And the diversity of patterns and plain colours you can find is infinite.

Your paper paradise is here!

Whatever your tastes, you have a variety of options to choose from. From vintage style, steampunk, romantic, to a more minimalist or geometric one. There are all kinds of scrap collections with patterns and illustrations to combine with any theme: Christmas, baby, weddings, Communions, spring, mountain, kitchen, beach… Everything you can imagine!

But it's not all patterns. There is also a wide range of papers in plain colours, to coordinate with the collections or to use as a base for albums, cards or layouts.

Varieties of scrapbooking paper:

And to adapt even more to your needs, you will find them patterned on one or both sides, or in different types of formats. The most common size for scrapbooking papers is 30x30 cm (12x12 inches), but they are also available in 15x15 cm (6x6 inches), 15x20 cm (6x8 inches), etc.

The papers can come individually or in a set or kit. Remember that in the same set or kit all papers and designs match each other, so we won't rack our brains thinking about which colours or designs to combine in the same project.

Paper sets are pads, meaning they come glued on one side. Kits are a set of loose papers presented in a plastic sleeve.

In addition, you have special papers available, such as vellum, acetate, tissue paper, corrugated cardboard and many other decorated papers for crafts.

In this post we tell you all about the different types of papers.

Craftelier Papers

Not all scrapbooking paper is the same. There are different types of grammage (paper thickness), which can be low, medium or thick, and this will determine what we can do with each paper. For example, we cannot bind with a high grammage paper, just as we cannot use a low grammage paper to make the pages of an album.

What must be true without exception for any type of scrap paper, is that it must be acid and lignin free, so that it does not ruin your photos or lose colour over time.

You have Craftelier papers available in this section for any project you can think of. Here you can get scrapbook paper for your most creative ideas. Choose all the ones you like best!
