You can hardly know a scrapper without a die-cutting machine. There are different options on the market, and a few months ago we told you about all of them here. Today we are talking about the new arrival; the long-awaited Big Show Switch Plus.
These machines are very useful for anyone who is dedicated to scrapbooking or Mixed Media, as they allow you to die-cut an infinite number of designs and make embossing easily. Both die-cut designs and embossing add a special touch to all your projects, as they can add volume or different textures to your projects, and it is a very easy way to decorate them. You can find thousands of die-cut designs on the market: from the most basic ones such as borders or tags (which are perfect for decorating, as they are very versatile and match well with any project), to dies with different themes: vegetable, baby, fashion, travel, wedding... the list is endless! Big Shot Switch Plus
As many of you know, the Sizzix brand has a wide range of die-cutting machines. There are different sizes, others can be closed and made smaller so that they are easier to transport... There are many options, but even so, Sizzix has managed to surprise you with this new model.
The new machine of the Sizzix family is automatic and electric. This makes it a very comfortable and easy-to-use tool, as you don't have to apply any force, the machine does it all by itself! Best of all, the machine incorporates a system to apply the right pressure for each type of die and material, so the final result will always be perfect. Its advanced system allows it to work with a wide range of dies, including the famous BigZ and several types of embossing folders.
It is a perfect tool both for people who are just starting in the die-cutting technique, as it is very easy to use, and for those who already have advanced knowledge.
Working surface
One of the features we are always asked about regarding this kind of tool is the working surface. This is important because there are different sizes of dies and, depending on the machine, not all of them are compatible. This new model has a working surface of up to 22 cm, we could even fit an A5 sheet of paper! So there is no problem working with big size dies.
Design
The new die-cutting machine has a beautiful design, white with very neat lines, so it will look great in any scrap room. It is a very compact tool that can also be folded (just like the Big Shot Foldaway), to save a lot of space when not in use, something that our scrap room will be thankful for. In line with the space-saving design, the Big Shot Switch Plus incorporates drawers to store small tools or your favourite dies so that you can always have them at hand.
