What is the Revolution for?

  It is a die-cutting machine with which we can make die cuts, and textured backgrounds using embossing techniques and the letterpress technique. It is ideal to complement our creative projects.   Let's start at the beginning, how does it work?Ā    The Revolution uses the same system as other manual die-cutters. It works with rollers that, by turning the lever, exert pressure on the materials we pass through them, until it cuts them into different shapes and forms.   It cuts cut many materials such as paper, cardboard, fabric, felt, leather, vellum, Eva foam, and acetate. It cuts them effortlessly! You don't run out of materials for your project ideas ā¤ļø  

Revolution characteristics

  This tool is the work of the American brand We R Makers, a real reference in scrapbooking and crafts. It has a simple and comfortable design, so you can take it with you on your travels, to workshops, or wherever you prefer to start scrapbooking. It includes a handle, so you can carry it wherever you want, although you could also carry it in your suitcase, as it doesn't take up much space. The total working surface is 15x30cm, as well as the magnetic platforms needed to use it. The tool includes all the necessary materials to make the famous die-cutting sandwich:
  • Base platform
  • Magnetic plate
  • Die-cutting plate
  • Embossing plate
  With these plates, you can do both die-cutting and embossing to create an infinite number of projects. The sandwich is made by placing, first, the base platform and on top of it the magnetic base, which is the one that will hold the dies. Place the paper you want to cut and the die with the blade facing the paper.Ā Ā  At the top, place the die-cutting plate (the one that says die-cut). Now put the sandwich through the Revolution and let the magic happen. The outer plates (the magnetic base and the die-cutting plate) protect from cutting and allow the die to cut the paper thanks to the pressure exerted by the rollers. It's that easy!  

The Revolution in mini format

If you have a suitcase full of scrapping tools and you don't have enough space, we recommend the Mini Evolution. It's the little sister of the Revolution only a bit lighter and smaller in size - perfect to keep on your scrapping table!Ā  It's a small die-cutting and embossing machine. In addition, it includes a suction cup on the bottom so you can attach it to the table and it won't move when you use it. It has an approximate size of 12x14x8 cm and is available in two colours, turquoise or pastel pink, so you can choose the one you like the most. This tool has a great advantage over other smaller die cutters such as the Sidekick that we will discuss later, and that is that we have 1.5 cm more cutting width.  

The Revolution is now in violet
