It seemed like January was not coming to an end, and now Valentine's Day is just around the corner. And maybe you wanted to give something handmade to someone special and now time is running out, so here are some ideas for simple projects.
To make any of the ideas that we propose today, start by choosing papers. We are going to suggest three very recent launches with a Valentine's Day theme.
Valentine's Day Collections
Any of the collections below are very good options to carry out any of these projects. Very warm colours, pink and red predominate, accompanied by illustrations of hearts, flowers, and messages that will inspire us and make our work much easier.
Easy Valentine's Day projects
Mini album
A mini-album is always a nice gift to make for someone. The options are endless, you can make a traditional album, bound with rings or disc rings, or you can even go a step further and make an album in the shape of a heart. Our proposal for Valentine's Day is to make a heart-shaped album. It' s very easy to do, you just have to draw a heart on a piece of cardboard (a heart or whatever shape you want), and with this template, cut out your front cover, back cover, and pages. For the binding, you can go for something very simple, a ring binding. Make a couple of holes with the Crop-A-Dile, choose the eyelets that match your design, and your album is ready. Quick, simple, and very original.
Explosion box
The explosion box has been one of the trendiest projects of the year 2021, so it couldn't be missing in our compilation of ideas for Valentine's Day. With the Explosion Board from We R Memory Keepers, you'll get a very colourful project very quickly. You can fill it with photos and messages and even keep a little treat inside. Giving an Explosion Box for Valentine's Day is a sure hit.
Lay-Out
Another project that you can make and surprise your receptors is a lay-out. This type of creation allows you to play a lot with your creativity, as you can do almost anything with many techniques. For example, you can experiment with textures and use vellum paper, cardboard and even incorporate fabric or suede or stitching. You can create volumes using die-cuts and foam stickers. It's time to experiment and create.

Valentine's Day card
A Valentine's Day card may be the ultimate Valentine's Day project. It may seem like a simple project, but as with Lay-Out, it allows you to experiment with different techniques, and you can make real works of art on a card. Play with volumes and textures, materials, make a shaker, whatever you can think of! And if you are someone who likes to write, this may be your favourite project because you have all the space you want for it inside (remember to leave a place for this purpose when you decorate the inside of the card).
Have you already decided what project to do this Valentine's Day? Tell us in the comments what you have in mind and if you have been inspired by any of our proposals :)
