Italian copper leaf

• Very thin sheet of beaten copper, used for decoration by gilding on different surfaces.
• Includes a book of 25 sheets of 16x16 cm. with Italian copper leaf.
• The copper leaf can be applied with water, with a prepared base of plaster and rabbit glue and then covered with a bowl of Armenia, reddish in colour.
• In order to achieve the shine after finishing the laying, it should be burnished with an agate stone,
• It can also be applied with the armhole or mordant technique, which involves the use of a layer of adhesive called mixtión, and after allowing it to dry, the gold is applied.
