• 100% polymer varnish in spray format.
• It is a product used to protect and finish surfaces painted with acrylics.
• It increases colour saturation and dries clear to form a flexible, non-sticky and hard surface. It has the property of providing a luminous finish to the paint once it dries.
• When used as a final varnish, it gives a lustrous appearance that brings out the colours and adds a protective layer to the surface of the painting. After completing your artwork, you can apply the medium as a final varnish. This will help protect the painting from damage, such as dust, moisture or light scratches.
• Improves the durability of the surface: ideal for shipping or exhibitions.
• Resists discolouration (yellowing and tarnishing) caused by humidity, is resistant to water, heat and UV rays.
• Semi-opaque when wet, transparent when dry.
• Application and ratios: can be mixed with paint colours in varying proportions, depending on the desired effect and the specific make of the medium. Generally, it is added to the colour gradually until the desired transparency and gloss or matting is achieved. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for best results.
• Directions for use:
• - make sure the paint surface is completely dry and clean.
• - As this is permanent, do a patch test first.
• - Place the artwork flat on a surface; always varnish horizontally.
• - Use long, even strokes, covering the surface from top to bottom.
• - Do not go over parts that have been left unpainted. Allow to dry and then reapply the varnish.
• - Do not apply with a roller or sponge brush.
• - Apply 1 or 2 thin coats, allowing at least 24 hours drying time between coats. If more than two coats are required, first use gloss varnish as a base coat and build up to the desired thickness, then apply matt varnish as a top coat.
