Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 Coloured Pencil

The most light-resistant coloured pencil ever created.

Highly sought after by art teachers across all creative sectors, the subtle velvety effect of the new permanent pencil is the result of two years of technical research carried out in complete secrecy at the heart of the Maison’s workshops. Its delicate texture, combined with the vibrancy of the many newly developed shades, opens up new and exciting possibilities in the fields of layering, mixed media and shading.

Its extreme lightfastness is confirmed by the most rigorous tests, earning it the highest Luminance 6901 rating and international ASTM D-6901 certification.

With Luminance 6901, Caran d’Ache has succeeded in designing the most lightfast coloured pencil.

The range is produced in accordance with the criteria set out by the Swiss Made label and ecological standards, providing further evidence of the Maison’s firm ethical commitment.

Vegan except for colours no. 037, 129, 161, 171, 181, 729, 832 and 836.
