Metal box containing 10 Neocolor II watercolour crayons, ‘Portrait’ range, Caran d’Ache 50th Anniversary Special Edition

• Neocolor II water-soluble oil pastels showcase the immense innovative capabilities of Maison Caran d’Ache.
• Created in 1972 as the successor to the famous Neocolor I range, they offer unlimited creative possibilities for artists and beginners alike.
• Building on the existing excellent qualities (exceptional coverage, smoothness and extreme lightfastness), the artisans at the Manufacture added water solubility, a property much appreciated by connoisseurs of the Maison across all artistic fields and from school age onwards.
• Neocolor II can be used for all forms of creativity, from drawing on dry or wet surfaces, monotypes, impregnation, wet-on-wet drawing, glazing or rainbow gradients.
• To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Caran d’Ache is presenting five Special Editions, enriched with 15 new colours, grouped into five themed palettes: Pop, Lush, Portrait, Pastel and Dark. Each box of 10 colours includes three of the 15 new shades.
