MSA Varnish with UVLS Golden

• MSA (Mineral Spirit Acrylic) Varnish with UVLS (ultraviolet light stabilisers) is a Mineral Spirit based acrylic resin system that forms a more resistant and less permeable film than waterborne acrylic varnishes and can be applied to acrylic, oil and alkyd painted surfaces.
• It reduces dirt penetration and surface deterioration, providing an extremely uniform film with less foaming and fewer pores.
• It can be removed with mineral spirits after drying. For restorations, the varnish can be removed with MSA solvent, undiluted commercial mineral spirits.
• The UVLS system provides increased resistance to the harmful effects of UV radiation and is therefore recommended for interior and exterior use.
• MSA varnishes must be thinned before use. They are supplied at a higher density than intended for application to prevent the matt solids of the satin and matt finishes from settling on the base, which can result in an uneven and streaky appearance when applied.
• Available in different sizes and finishes.
• MSA (gloss) varnish dries with a highly reflective finish. MSA (satin) varnish offers moderate reflection, similar to most matt varnishes. The finish of MSA (matt) varnish is exceptionally uniform.
• The different finishes can be combined to achieve the desired gloss. Please note that MSA matt and satin varnishes lighten dark colours, which is typical of reduced gloss varnishes.
