Most of the heroes we know are extraordinary beings with magical powers and a cape flapping around their shoulders. But there are also heroes of flesh and blood, as human as you and me, who sometimes get it wrong and sometimes get it right in a big way.

Pablo Picasso was one of them. His powers were a few paintbrushes, many canvases and an enormous interest in creating new artistic styles. Thanks to all this he paved the way for Cubism, among other movements, and produced the works of art Dove of Peace and Guernica, now icons of peace for the whole world. Such is the prowess of Pablo Picasso, and this is his story.

My Little Heroes is a collection of illustrated biographies paying tribute to the figures in history who have made the world a better place.
