• Schmincke Akademie Gouache is a high quality opaque gouache.
• The Schmincke Akademie Gouache tubes are made with gum arabic and the best artists' pigments.
• Although it is their student range, the colours are intense and have a natural opacity. All colours are highly pigmented and therefore have great luminosity and saturation.
• They can be used in two ways: by incorporating the appropriate amount directly from the tube into the metal box that serves as a palette; or dilute it beforehand with water. They dry to a velvety matte finish that blends well with transparent watercolours. Once dry, it can be re-wetted and used without losing its properties, even with excess water.
• Colours included are: 100 - White, opaque, 205 - Primary Yellow, 315 - Primary Magenta, 410 - Primary Cyan, 700 - Black.
• Contains 5 x 20 ml tubes of gouache in a cardboard box for easy transport and organisation.
• Recommended for use on heavyweight papers suitable for the technique or on canvas.
