Gelatos & Waxes

Gelatos are very smooth compact pigment sticks that are used and slide like when using chalk. High covering power, vibrant and bright colours, gelatos can be used for both dry and wet techniques.

You can use them directly as a wax or chalk stick, blur the rendering or use them mixed with a textured paste. It can also offer other possibilities: if you mix water with chips or gelato dust, its reaction will give quite different results, and do not hesitate to use it with a sprayer, in watercolour or on a pad!
