Stamp Cleaners

A clean and in good condition stamp is a happy stamp that lives long. To best protect your pads and extend their life, it is essential to clean them after each use but also to do it well with the appropriate cleaners, because not all pads can be cleaned in the same way.

A stamp can last for a very long time if you take care of it.

It is important to clean the stamp between each colour change. Indeed, you can switch from dark green to yellow by cleaning your surface between each colour change, simply with absorbent paper while the ink is still wet or with a damp, soapy sponge if the ink has dried. After wiping, ink again with the chosen colour. (If the pad has a wooden support, do not immerse it in water, not because the wood could absorb water, damage, open and stain.)

Finally, it is necessary to clean the stamp after each work session to prevent the ink from drying out and being difficult to remove or mixing with the next colours. For a quick cleaning and/or very used pads with inlaid colours, there are specific cleaners here. They have the advantage of eliminating very effectively the traces of more stubborn bright or greasy inks such as those caused by embossing inks.

Always wipe your supports well: water does not mix well with foam or wood.
All you have to do is store your brand new and clean equipment until the next project.
