• Waterproof and fade resistant permanent marker. The cone-shaped tip is very versatile, you can make thin strokes by placing the tip straight or thicker strokes by laying the tip flat. So, it can be used to draw fine lines and outlines, or to fill in large masses of colour quickly.

• This marker is solvent-based, so it is water permanent and you can use it not only on paper, but also on many other surfaces such as stone, plastic or metal (from these two surfaces you can remove it with an alcohol wipe). You can also use it on more porous and absorbent materials such as wood or fabric, but be careful because due to the solvent the ink tends to expand a little. This will also happen on very absorbent paper.

• It is a good choice for quick drawings like caricatures or book signatures because it dries very fast.

• You can't use them on dark or black paper, as they don't show through, except for metallic sharpie (gold, silver and bronze).
