• Procion MX dyes are cold water dyes that are chemically fixed rather than heat set.
• They are also ideal for shibori, ice dyeing, vat dyeing and low temperature dip dyeing, printing, direct painting and other alternative dyeing applications.
• Being a fibre-reactive dye, it forms a strong covalent bond with cellulosic fibres, making it the most permanent and wash-resistant dye.
• Contains:
• - 4 colours of 18,71g: 004 Lemon Yellow, 040 Fuchsia, 068 Turquoise, 150 Jet Black.
• - 1 bag of fixative carbonate 0,45kg.
• How to use:
• - Mix the concentrated powder dye with tap water to create the most vibrant colours possible for cotton, linen and other vegetable fabrics.
• - Often used with a sodium carbonate fixative, which can be added directly to the dye bath or used to pre-treat the fabric.
• - One 18.71 g bottle will dye over 0.45 kg of dry fabric.
