Their ink offers a glossy finish on porcelain as well as glazed ceramics and heat-resistant oven glass. You can enjoy your decorated items for a long time. After a short drying time, the paint is fixed in the oven, making your designs dishwasher-safe.

The flexible tip of the edding 4200 porcelain brush pen allows for both simple and intricate creations. Even beginners can decorate porcelain effortlessly, as the smooth ink application provides an even, brilliant colour result without dripping. If applying multiple layers of colour, it is best to let the first layer dry before applying the next. These porcelain pens are available in three different colour sets.

Instructions for use of porcelain brush pens: 

1. Before decorating, clean the item thoroughly in the dishwasher and use a detergent or methylated spirits to remove any fingerprints or grease residues.
2. When decorating, ensure there are no unnecessary fingerprints under the ink as you apply it. Allow the designs to dry for 15 minutes before baking. Place them for 25 minutes at 320°F in a preheated oven and let them cool down inside the oven.
3. Use the brush pen for decorative purposes only. Avoid decorating areas of the porcelain that will be used for cutting, eating or drinking. For example, decorate the rim of a plate or the outside of a mug.
4. Everyday cleaning: avoid rubbing, scrubbing or friction against other items by placing the object in the dishwasher so it does not come into contact with other crockery or cutlery.
5. Store the pens horizontally after use.
