Mugs, figurines or egg cups: With the new edding 4200 porcelain brush pen markers, it is possible to hand-paint and decorate all types of porcelain objects.

Its ink offers a glossy finish on both porcelain as well as on glazed ceramics and heat-resistant ovenproof glass. You will be able to enjoy your decorated objects for a long time. After a short drying time, the paint is fixed in the oven and the designs become dishwasher-resistant. The edding 4200 porcelain brush pen markers enable simple or more elaborate creations thanks to their flexible nib.

For beginners, decorating porcelain won't be a problem either, as the smooth ink application ensures an even and bright colour result without dripping. If applying several layers of colour, it is best to let the first layer dry before applying the next. The porcelain markers are available in three colour sets from different ranges.

Colours: red, orange, brown, pink, purple red and crimson.

Tips for using Edding porcelain markers:

1. Before you start decorating, clean the item thoroughly in the dishwasher and use a detergent or methylated spirit to remove fingerprints or grease residues.
2. When decorating, make sure there are no unnecessary fingerprints under the ink while applying it. Allow the drawings to dry for 15 minutes before baking. Place them for 25 minutes at 160°C (320°F) in the preheated oven and allow them to cool inside it.
3. Use the brush tip marker for decorative purposes only. Avoid decorating areas of the porcelain that will be used for cutting, eating or drinking. For example, decorate the rim of a plate or the outside of a mug.
4. Daily cleaning: avoid the item rubbing, scrubbing and friction against other items by placing it in the dishwasher so that it is not in contact with other crockery or cutlery.
5. Place the markers horizontally after use.
