Colour pencils for children

Children also love doing creative things, painting, drawing... At home, there is no space for them to run around, and we struggle thinking of new activities for them. Sometimes the simplest thing is what works best and a colour pencil set never fails, they’ll spend hours and hours drawing and painting. Also, if this is a hobby of ours, we can include them and have a good time with them.

4.- Watercolours

This one is a classic that once again appeals to both, children and adults. Winsor and Newton watercolours are always a good choice. Their quality-price ratio makes them one of the most desired on the market. We have them available in tablets, tubes and in different ranges of colours, from the most basic to the most complete. You’ll find a set that will convince you. The set we recommend you today includes a brush, so you can have all your basics ready.

Pastels

If we haven't tempted you yet, we think this will. A nice box of pastels. Van Gogh pastels are designed for the modern artist and therefore have a great quality and a perfect relationship between its components, kaolin and pigment. This perfect relationship makes these pastels more resistant and it’s harder for them to break. You can use them on many surfaces such as paper, cardboard, stone, asphalt or wood.

Watercolour pencils

This is a good alternative to traditional colour pencils. The funny thing about these watercolour pencils is that you’ll get more effects than with a normal pencil. You can use them as normal pencils and also as if they were watercolours, simply by dipping them in water. Don't hesitate to compare the effects it has with water and without it, you will be surprised.

Tempera

The liquid tempera we recommend you, from Milan, are perfect for children because they are suitable for school use and aren’t toxic. Besides, stains on clothes can be washed without any problem in the washing machine, which is a relief, because we already know what happens when our kids start painting with gouache.

We have a wide range of colours on the web so you can choose between a wide range to choose from and you can even make your own set as well, as we sell them individually too.

Double-tip Markers

These have to be the most special markers! They have two tips, so you can make all kinds of strokes with them. One of the tips is flexible, like a brush, which allows you to create soft and broad strokes; the other tip is thinner, so it's perfect for details, lines or to write something. These Bianyo pens that we recommend you, include a brush so that you can dilute the pigment with water to obtain more effects.

You can use them to colour, draw, do some lettering or, in fact, anything you can think of.

Wax Crayon

These Manley's wax crayons, are famous for their softness, light-fastness and brightness. You can mix the colours very easily and use them on a lot of different surfaces.

Any of our Manley wax sets are no more than £25, not even our 50 pack of waxes, isn't it great to have 50 paints for that price?
