The dream of any scraper is to have all the machines that come on the market, so you can make any technique you want. The problem, of course, is the storage space. But the Multi Cinch has arrived to solve this problem. Using this tool, you'll be able to make up to seven different bindings.
Multi Cinch
The Multi Cinch has come to make it easier in binding projects, as with this machine you will be able to make different bindings. The machine is the same size as the Mini Cinch, which is a plus because we are always interested in saving space in our scraproom.

The most interesting thing about this machine is that you can change the cartridges depending on the type of binding you want to do, from which you can choose: circle 2:1 holes, circle 3:1 holes, heart-shaped holes, square holes, disc ring binding, to make elastic band binding and to make Coptic binding. Thus, you can make different bindings for your albums, notebooks, or diaries, bookbinding has never been so easy!
As with the Mini Cinch models (both the Mini Cinch and the Mini Disc Cinch) with the new tool you can punch paper (up to 15 pages at a time of 90 grams), cardboard, and cardboard, ideal for binding!
What includes the Multi Cinch?
When you buy your Multi Cinch machine, this is what will be delivered to your home:
-Multi Cinch machine
-Two cartridges: the circle 2:1 hole cartridge and the disc ring cartridge.
All other heads and accessories are sold separately.

How do I use the Multi Cinch?
The great novelty of this tool compared to the Mini Cinch, which you may already know, is that it has interchangeable cartridges so that you can make different types of bindings. Changing these cartridges is very simple, just pull them gently outwards and place a new one in, simply centre it and apply a little pressure until you hear a "click".
And as with the Mini Cinch, the Multi Cinch comes with a guide to help you centre your bindings. On each cartridge, you will find a legend explaining the position where you have to place the alignment guide, depending on the size of our project. Let's see an example. The legend for the head to make circle 2:1 holes:
- A: 1/4, 1/8, 5/8, 3/4 or sizes A4, A5 and A7.
- B: 3/8, 7/8 or A6 size.
- C: 1/2 or whole inches.
Following these indications, you'll have to place the guide in positions A, B, or C taking into account your project size. Any project that ends in, for example, half inches (1/2") will have to be placed in position C. And if, for example, you have a project that measures 8 3/4" you will have to place it in A position. So easy to make bindings with this machine!
And of course, the Multi Cinch comes with a ruler for centering those smaller projects for which we don't need to use the alignment guide. This ruler also comes in inches and centimetres (this guide measures 15 centimetres).

And for those bindings that are larger than the width of the Multi Cinch, there is no problem, as all the cartridges include a guide to fit into the last hole you've made in the first perforation and thus ensure a perfect binding. This way, you can make a project up to 30 centimetres.
And that's not all, for those bindings for which you need to use the wire-os, the machine makes it very easy to place them. On one of the sides of the machine, you will find notches to place the rings and make it much easier to insert the paper into the wire-o. And on the front part you can fit the rings and, lowering the handle, you can close them. To do this last step, it is important to take into account that you can only fit 5/8" wire-o.

And if you still have any doubts about how this tool works, you can take a look at this video:
Tell us now what you think of this tool. We can't hide the fact that we love it, we find it very practical to be able to make different types of binding without the need to have different machines taking up a lot of space. It is a small tool with which we can do great things. Now it's your turn, tell us what you think of this machine and if there is any cartridge you are particularly interested in.
