When it comes to keeping your inks in perfect condition, this is undoubtedly a plus. They have a handy size of 4 x 4 cm (1.5' x 1.5') and are stackable so you can store them easily and compactly anywhere.

How to use the Craftelier dye inks?

Whether you use acrylic or rubber stamps, Craftelier inks are perfect for enhancing your favourite stamps. They have great definition, even for the smallest details. Once stamped, let it dry for a while, and you will see great results. Being a translucent ink, it is recommended to use it on light backgrounds, because stamping on dark cardboard would not show the design. One of the components of the ink is the dye and not the pigment, so the colour is absorbed by the paper and does not remain on the surface like pigment ink. Embossing craftelier inks To create beautiful compositions, you can stamp in a single colour or print in several layers. As well as paper and card, you can print on vellum with our inks, just make sure it dries well - it'll add a touch of transparency to any project! The colours dry very fast, but you can emboss if you like. Use clear powders to add gloss and volume to your favourite ink colour, or holographic, glitter or iridescent powders for something different. ejemplo fondos con tintas Craftelier inks are water-based, so you can use them to print designs that you will later colour in with alcohol-based markers.

And, besides stamping?

Applying the ink directly to the paper with the pad is another way to use the ink. When dry, you will have a smooth and even surface that you can use to create backgrounds or die-cuts in the colour you want to decorate your projects. You can also use this method to create samples for your colour chart.   crafts with inks Although these are not specific smudge inks, you can use the gradient brushes to apply them to stencils or ink the edges of a tag or card, for example. The soft bristles of the inking brushes allow for a smooth application without excess ink in certain areas. You can also use the ink applicators! A very original way to apply ink is to make a polka-dot pattern: fill the pad with ink and press the applicator onto the paper so that it rotates. You can use just one colour or combine different colours and sizes. The result is a fun background for cards, layouts, album pages and more!

A bit of mixed media?

We have talked about stamping with Craftelier inks, or applying the ink with brushes or applicators, but we can also mix them with water! When applied to watercolour paper that is waterproof, you can watercolour with Craftelier inks. Use a wet brush to blend the colour until you get a nice gradient, even mixed with another colour. craftelier Ink stamping platform You can also apply ink directly from the pad to a glass base, spray with water and paint with the brushes. If you want to paint a stamped design with watercolour ink, remember to stamp the stamp with a waterproof ink so it doesn't smudge when you paint. And what if there is ink left on the glass base? Put the paper directly on it to absorb the ink and create a nice abstract background - you can even do this several times to create different layers! Even if the ink has dried, if you put water on it and wipe it off with absorbent paper, you will remove some colour, giving a very interesting texture and finish

Versatility at its best!

Craftelier inks are very versatile, so you can make the most of them in all your projects. Stamp, paint, blur, dye... We've given you some ideas of what you can do with them, but there's nothing like getting your hands on them to see what they can do. The hardest part will be choosing your favourite colours, because they are all ideal! Tell us, have you picked yours yet? Inks Craftelier brand
