Their unique formulation fusing dye and pigment creates dramatic, stunning oxidised effects when they react with water.

In addition, thanks to the pigment content, they are opaque, meaning they show up perfectly even on dark surfaces.

Distress Oxide Ink pads come in a 2"x2" size, featuring a felt pad. Due to their specialised composition, they cannot be made in the mini 1"x1" size like classic Distress Inks.

Ranger Distress Oxide Ink pads can be used for stamping, creating blended backgrounds, or even as watercolours by adding water. Once dry, because the pigment remains on the surface of the paper, they will reactivate whenever sprayed or splattered with water.

One of the main advantages of these inks is how seamlessly they blend. By using basic tools like domed ink applicators or blending brushes, you can craft smooth gradients, even when working with stencils or templates.
